75-Point Turnover Cleaning Checklist
Property: ____________________________ Date: ____________ Cleaned by: ____________________ Inspected by: ____________________

Seventy-five points, in the order a turnover is actually worked. Print it, hand it to whoever cleans your property, and ask for it back signed. If your current cleaner passes all of it, you have a good one. If the argument is that some of it is unnecessary, that is worth having before a guest has it for you.

Questions this gets asked

Can I use this checklist with my own cleaner?

Yes, that is what it is for. Print it, hand it over, and ask for it back signed. It is free to use and there is nothing to sign up for.

What is a 75-point cleaning checklist?

A turnover standard broken into seventy-five individual checks across seven stages, from the information the crew arrives with through to the guest-ready confirmation. Scoring against defined points rather than a pass or fail makes failures comparable across properties and over time.

How is this different from a normal house cleaning list?

A turnover is not a house clean with a deadline. It is a reset to a standard a stranger will grade within an hour of arriving, so it includes par-level restocking, photo evidence, damage reporting and a guest-ready confirmation that a domestic clean has no reason to cover.

Does Fluffy actually use this?

Yes. Every clean runs against these points and is checked by a supervisor rather than the person who cleaned the room, with photos of how the property was left.

What if my cleaner says some points are unnecessary?

That is a useful conversation to have, and much better to have it now than after a guest raises it in a review. Some points genuinely do not apply to some properties. The ones worth insisting on are the bathroom checks, under and behind furniture, and the final pass.
